Curatorial note

Seen at the Kip Street curb, the work anchors the edge between a parked white sedan and a cluster of planter pots. The pink and yellow decorative shapes among the planters provide a punctum of color within the muted surface of the vehicle and asphalt, registering the street as a site of improvised ornament. Acquired January 2026, the piece remains part of the South Philadelphia collection and invites sustained attention to curbside life as a formal subject.
