Seen from the curb, the burgundy Buick Lucerne anchors the Melrose Street view as a patient form at rest. The patch of melted snow and ice at the curb beside the rear bumper foregrounds duration and seasonal texture in the frame. Acquired January 2026, this work remains a longitudinal presence in the South Philadelphia streetscape, a calm repository of everyday mobility.
