Seen at midday, the snowbound curb along Midvale Avenue fixes the streetscape as a winter field. The long diagonal shadow across the snow emphasizes the sun's low angle, guiding the eye from the foreground toward the cluster of trees and utility poles. Since acquisition in February 2026, the work has remained a quiet monument to duration, inviting attention to the texture of ice fragments and the rhythm of the street.
