Curbside Vigil, Stirling Street — Stirling Street
Automotive, stationary, snow-covered curbside
Police Department, est. 2026
89 days on view
Curatorial note
Seen from the alley-facing vantage, the vehicle's dark body and red rear tail light anchor the composition on a winter street. Since acquisition in February 2026, the work has occupied this edge of Stirling Street, where a railing and improvised fabric privacy screens create a dense surround for halted movement. The piece records a durable material presence within the neighborhood's snowbound streetscape, inviting contemplation of mobility and public-private thresholds.
