Curatorial note
From the curb, the diagonal ridge of snow along the hood frames the composition, marking a winter pause in the street’s routine. Since acquisition in February 2026, the car has occupied the Furley Street curb, its white surface interrupted by a line of grime at the lower panels and by tire tracks in the snow. The photograph records a public object at rest in a seasonal landscape, anchoring the streetscape as a durable index of duration and weather.
